Hello and welcome,

I am your hostess Lorena Rauscher. Together with my husband Erik Dotzauer I run the Hotel Abenstal in Au in der Hallertau since August 2019.

I discovered my passion for the hotel business early on. During my education as a hotel management assistant in Landshut in a prestigious 4-star hotel, I learned what is important in the hotel business. In a large hotel with more than 300 rooms in Munich I was able to deepen my knowledge as a receptionist.
After this experience I was drawn back home to the town of Dingolfing, where I worked in a family business with the size of 3 hotels and a total of over 70 rooms.
The desire to run my own hotel grew more and more and so we decided to start searching.
And then it finally happened, we found the perfect hotel for us, here in Au. My husband also was infected by the passion of the hotel business and since then he has been supporting me wherever he can in addition to his work as an industrial engineer.

As hosts, we love to prepare an unforgettable stay for our guests. Our greatest ambition is that you as our guest feel comfortable and at home. We work for this every day with a lot of commitment and heart!
